Hardware That Ties It Together
Stick to one metal across the whole kitchen. Brushed brass, satin nickel, and matte black all work with two-tone kitchens. Mixing metals is fine — just do it intentionally (faucet + island pendants in brass, cabinet pulls in black).

The white + wood island combo is timeless. Bolder colour choices (navy, green, terracotta) are here for 5-10 years minimum because they’re repaintable. Unlike dated trends (honey oak, Tuscan, cherry), you can refresh two-tone kitchens with paint for $3,000-$5,000.
